Fit & Fierce FAQ
Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions page! This information will be included in your email confirmation but please don't hesitate to contact us with additional questions by clicking here. We're looking forward to training with you!
What do I wear?
Wear clothing that will allow full movement for physical activity (sweats, shorts, t-shirt, etc.). Street shoes are not allowed on the mat. Expect to workout with bare feet. Exception: shoes that have not been worn outdoors maybe worn.
Do I need equipment?
We have everything you need; however, if you're a Kickboxing participant, bring your gloves and focus mitts (if you have them).
What do I bring?
Water bottle and a small towel to wipe your brow.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! Please have them register online by the specified deadline.
Where do I park?
Street parking only! The parking spots on the east side of the building are NOT for our use. Please also do not use the lot behind the West Seattle Brewery. You will be towed if you park in these areas so please use street parking, thank you!
I have physical limitations, how can I participate?
Each person will work at her own level and in her own way to maintain a safe and healthy workout experience. There will be alternative approaches to exercises, drills and activities offered. Bottom line, you know yourself best. Please work within your limits and keep the instructor informed of any concerns or injuries you have at Boot Camp.
Do I have to take all the classes?
Each session is a series of progressive classes. It's important to attend all classes; however, if you need to miss a class please chat with the instructor. We do not offer partial packages or discounts for missing classes.
When should I arrive?
On the first day please arrive 10 minutes early for paperwork (student info/liability waiver, if you haven't already filled it out) and a general introduction to your new workout experience. All other days will start and end on time.
Can I arrive early to classes?
Yes, arriving five minutes early will give you time to put your stuff away, take off shoes, etc. The instructor is there well before class; however, the door will be locked until class starts. Tapping on the door usually gets the instructor's attention!
Can I leave early?
Life happens, touch base with the instructor prior to class.
Can I miss a class?
Life happens, notice is appreciated. Class is progressive; partner exercises are common, building on materials, skills and conditioning. There will be no make-up classes.
Will you prorate the series?
This is a progressive series of classes that relies on partner work. For this reason, we do not prorate the program. When you register, you'll be signing up for the entire series.
